Houston, TX — It’s been a few years since Houston Texans fans were on top of their game.
But now the team has lost to the Denver Broncos.
After a 21-14 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 10, the Texans are 4-7 since.
That includes a 6-3 loss to San Francisco last Sunday.
The Texans have lost eight straight at home, and the Texans offense has struggled in recent weeks.
The offensive line is also starting to get hurt.
The loss means the Texans have to start the season with three new starters.
The only quarterback on the roster is backup Brock Osweiler, who is currently sidelined with a concussion.
With Osweil sidelined, the offensive line will need to play with more urgency.
The Texans are currently ranked No. 16 in the NFL in scoring offense and No. 19 in rushing offense.
The team has scored more points in three of the last four games.
The defense is ranked No .16 in the league and No .27 in rushing defense.
The season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs will be the first of three games against teams that have lost quarterback Brock Osceiler.
The Broncos have beaten the Texans four straight times.
